Troubleshooting
Start here when something in Vesta is unclear, missing, or blocked.
Common issues
Section titled “Common issues”I cannot sign in
Section titled “I cannot sign in”- Confirm you are using the correct surface: employer portal or employee-facing kiosk flow.
- Check whether your invitation, profile-completion step, or login link is still valid.
- If the page loads but key areas are missing, the problem may be role or payroll access rather than authentication.
I cannot see a feature my colleague can see
Section titled “I cannot see a feature my colleague can see”- Compare roles and permissions first.
- In the employer portal, payroll and feature access can hide entire navigation sections.
The kiosk is not ready for employees
Section titled “The kiosk is not ready for employees”- Confirm the device has completed kiosk setup.
- If the kiosk keeps redirecting to setup or login, ask the employer team to verify activation and local device readiness.
A contract or todo prompt keeps interrupting the kiosk flow
Section titled “A contract or todo prompt keeps interrupting the kiosk flow”- Complete the prompt if it is awaiting employee action.
- If it returns after completion, ask the employer team to review the contract or related operational data from the portal.
A worker is flagged with a Dimona issue on the kiosk board
Section titled “A worker is flagged with a Dimona issue on the kiosk board”- This does not block the employee. They can keep clocking while it is being sorted out.
- The employer team resolves it from the portal, where the declaration can be reviewed and sent again.
My time or payroll view does not look right
Section titled “My time or payroll view does not look right”- Check whether the issue belongs to planning, time entries, or payroll review.
- Fix the earliest incorrect step in the chain instead of only correcting the final output.
Before you contact support
Section titled “Before you contact support”Bring these details with you so the Vesta team can diagnose the issue faster:
- which surface you are using: employer portal or employee-facing kiosk
- the exact employee, team, location, or payroll period affected
- the step where the issue starts, not just the final screen that looks wrong
- the approximate time of the issue and a screenshot if one is available
